Straz Hall is an eight story, 460 bed dormitory. Each apartment has a full kitchen, shared bathroom, living area where students can gather, and four single sleeping rooms. On the first floor there is plenty of community space where residents can study and socialize, either inside or outside. The structural framing is concrete columns and concrete shear walls with post-tensioned slabs. The project was completed in 2003.
