This design/build project, located on the Tampa Campus of the University of South Florida, consists of the major renovation of Beta Hall, a dormitory. The renovation was to an existing five-story, reinforced poured in place concrete frame, brick veneered dormitory structure. The complete renovation of this 300 bed facility included bathrooms, the addition of common spaces such as kitchen/lounges, laundry and study areas on all floors. A new portal/breezeway was designed on the lower levels to allow access through the building connecting to the campus pedestrian paths and the Greenway. The Project was completed in 2004 for a construction cost of $8,875,000.
